The 140 Pro HD is extruded from UV- and chemical-stabilized Armortech™ material in a heavier, more rigid gauge than our residential rolls, with the same 1.8" × 1.8" oval mesh that gives the Sentry™ line its balance of porosity and strength. Wind passes through, slows down, and drops its snow on the downwind side in a predictable drift. It’s rated for multi-season use, so one roll covers an account for years. For open, high-wind municipal sites or the longest possible service life, step up to the 195 Max.

How does plastic snow fence actually stop drifts?
Snow fence doesn’t block wind — it slows it. As wind passes through the mesh it loses speed and drops the snow it’s carrying on the downwind side, building a controlled drift there instead of across your driveway, lot or road.
How far from my lot should I put the fence?
About 35 times the fence height upwind — roughly 140 ft for a 4 ft fence. On tight commercial sites, get as far upwind as the property allows; even a shorter setback dramatically reduces drifting.
140 Pro HD or 195 Max — which should I buy?
Both are heavy-duty, multi-season rolls with 1.8" oval mesh. The 140 Pro HD is the right call for most contractor and commercial work — parking lots, private roads, plow routes. Choose the 195 Max for open, high-wind municipal sites or when you want the heaviest gauge and longest service life we offer.
Can I use it as a construction or safety fence in summer?
Yes. The same high-visibility orange mesh is a standard job site safety barrier, crowd-control fence and perimeter marker year-round, and the UV stabilizers mean summer sun won’t degrade it.
How many posts do I need for a 100 ft roll?
Plan on 13–17 posts at 6–8 ft spacing (fewer in sheltered areas, more in open fields). Posts, ties and fasteners are sold separately.
