Ideally, it is simple as a hammer and nail application process. If a snow plow contractor uses PRO Line stakes, the hard plastic cap pretty much allows you to simply hammer the stake into the ground and move onto the next one. Unfortunately, things like frozen ground, gravel, sideways installation and many other factors can complicate the process and add a ton of time to the install. Luckily there is a simple solution, the <a href=\"https:\/\/discountsnowstakes.com\/catalog\/product\/view\/id\/53\/s\/snow-stake-install-tool\/category\/18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">install tool<\/a>. <\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-rounded\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/discountsnowstakes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/SS-0-39-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"driveway markers install tool, snow stake installation, install stakes into frozen ground\" class=\"wp-image-1059\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The install tool is an impact tested steel spike device with a handle and kick plate. This tool has really made it easy on plow contractors and home owners to install snow stakes into the landscape. I think the first great benefit of using the tool for installation is getting the stakes straight right off the bat. When you hammer them in, even a seasoned snow plow veteran goes a little sideways sometimes. Pressing down on the kick plate creates the hole and gives a straight away entry for snow stakes. Not only does having the stakes straight up look great on the landscape, it also gives a higher percentage of them staying upright during the snow season. <\/h3>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The amount of time you save using the install tool is very significant. Simply press the metal spike into the ground, place the stake where the hole was created, flip the tool over to the hollow side, and hammer the tool down using the handle. The process can actually take up to 5 seconds longer than it does to install the stake normally hammering it into the ground with a mallet. BUT!!!!! Using the traditional method without the install tool will have a certain percentage of stakes that you have to fix or do over. Some stakes will take a long time to get right because of the hard ground or the amount of rock that you have to deal with. So after installing about 1000 snow stakes, the tool helps to install the stakes straighter and quicker. <\/h4>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The most important thing that the install tool does is get the stake deeper into the ground with way less effort. Have you ever heard the expression, &#8220;work smarter, not harder&#8221; ? Whoever came up with that saying probably would be a huge fan of the snow stakes install tool. Hammering stakes into the ground can be frustrating and take more time to do than we would all like.
