Driveway Markers Junk Cap List ❄️🚩

It’s go time for driveway markers. Every snow plow company is in mad dash mode to get ready for winter. So naturally, everyone is trying to be the best snow stakes for the lowest price. Let me tell you what stakes NOT to get, and let’s focus on the cap.

  • Driveway markers that have the round cap are a terrible pick. Think about trying to hammer a nail into a piece of wood with a rounded, not flat, nail head…. ridiculous. The companies that sell these should give em away.
  • Snow Stakes with metal caps. Don’t do it, they look good in Lowes. They look heavy duty. They’re NOT. These caps rust in around 3 months (tested by Discount Snow Stakes) and by the way, metal doesn’t fuse to fiberglass, so they often pop right off the stake.
  • My favorite driveway stake cap is… The rubber cap. This squishy little cap is useless. Pop’s right off the snow stake with no force at all. If you install them aggressively, the hammer or mallet rips right through it on first installation.

It sounds nice to get a few cents off your driveway markers for the snow season, but like anything else, you get what you pay for. Trust me, don’t order from the snow stake company who is selling for 30% less than anyone else, there’s always a catch.

Discount Snow Stakes proprietary Armortech Cap® doesn’t rust, doesn’t pop off, doesn’t crack and is flat. This makes installation much easier, but more importantly, the cap gives the stake a longer life. The whole point of investing in snow stakes in the first place is to make installation easier for the workers, to have good visibility and most importantly to reuse them year after year. Discount Snow Stakes cap provides this by protecting the driveway marker itself.
