Every year we try and figure out new ways to make our driveway markers stand out. We want them to first off, stand out from our competitors snow stakes. We also want the customers to be able to distinguish their driveway markers from other companies stakes. We developed three new driveway markers, first we made green snow stakes with blue reflective tape. We also made yellow driveway markers with red reflective tap. Finally, we made Arctic White snow stakes with blue reflective tape. There are three reasons why we made these.

 
First is to deter theft. Most reflective markers look the same, orange, little rubber cap with a small strip of reflective tape. This would be easy for another company to take off the property and use as their own. It would be almost impossible to prove because the stakes look like everyone else’s stakes. 
 

Second is style and standing out from the competition. How many times have you seen white snow stakes? NEVER! To me, white snow stakes aren’t the best idea… I also thought that about our black snow stakes. However, black stand out against the snow and blends in at night. White is the opposite, blends in with snow, but with the highly reflective blue tape, shines bright at night. Black and white have both been heavily requested by customers.

Lastly, you want your drivers to be able to quickly identify the properties they are supposed to plow. If you sub a lot of your snow plowing out, chances are the driver is not familiar with the property they are supposed to be plowing. If you tell them that all of your properties that you plow for have yellow snow stakes with bright red reflective tape, I highly doubt they will be calling you to confirm which property they are supposed to be plowing.
